Energy
Gas prices are rising higher now then ever before. 3.38 Is the average cost of one gallon of regular gas. By memorial weekend gas could be up to 5 dollars a galleon. Gas is a non re usable resource and their is limited supply of it. Currently the world is in chaos and it only gets worse with accidents and wars in the middle east breaking out cause them to increase the prices. Energy is needed by the world in order to operate. The world needs to look into different fuel sources and make them more efficient and practical. Solar, Nuclear, Hydro, Etc are all forms of different energy.

electrical cars seem to be gaining a lot of momentum recently. i personally think that we should go towards that full time to help conserve our other resources like gas & oil.
ReplyDeleteI agree that we must use other forms of energy. The only prooblem is making that transition since we have been using gas since 1885.The percentage comparing gasoline cars to electric cars is verty great and will take a while before there is an actual difference.by then we might run out of our natural recources.IM not exactly sure how long it will take for our natural recources to be completely used up.I hope never if we continue with electric cars and other forms or renuable recources.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! You had a lot of good information.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is really intresting, and put together well! Good Job!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%.Electric vehicles is one of the best ways to support the energy problems. I can see other parts of the world making this kind of transition from gas to electric. That will take time to make a full transtition.By that time the world may be completely out of natural recorces.I know that it is somewhat of an exageration but it is true.Personally the U.S. cant afford to rebuid their infrastructure to support this, but everywhere ells in the world it seams to be working well.Dont get me wrong though the U.S. is making alot of progress or momentum like FreeRunner had mantioned.
ReplyDeleteAnd where exactly do you think that electricity comes from? Just out of the socket? No, it comes from power plants using natural resources to make electricity. So it makes little difference if we burn the fossil fuels in our car or in the power plant. We are still using them up and the fact of the matter is that electric cars are just not practical in our word. I would agree with you if you said hydrogen powered cars but electric cars are not the way of the future.
ReplyDeleteYes i do like the idea of electric cars. Ever since i took the environmental class in sophomore year. Those are good ways to help the cars not pollute the air. Cars do make a lot of co2.
